How did you become popular on Instagram?

It actually started off as a bet with my housemate.  Sitting in my living room one night we thought it fun to see who could get the most followers… And now here we are!  My most popular posts would be a classy selfie or a cool acrobatic video.  I try to keep my Instagram updated with relevant content which I guess is the reason for the continued growth of my account.  I am still overwhelmed by all the love.
Tro 2How does your typical day look like?

Tricky question; sometimes I work 14 hours shifts on the Ambulance so that’s a lot of me attending patients and going in and out of hospitals. Other days I am sleeping and watching re-runs of ‘Sex and the City’, ‘Archer’, ‘Grey’s Anatomy’, ‘Drag Race’ or anything related – Netflix and snacks anyone?
I try to venture out to the beach when ever weather permits, after all I am part mermaid. Fitness plays a big part in my day – I do try to do something physical each day whether that be a 2 hour acrobatic workout or simply a walk around the block.
Tro 1How many times did you hear “Oh, I saw you on Instagram”?

Not so often actually.  Sometimes on dating apps it happens but not so much when I am out and about. It actually is a strange situation and I never seem to know how to respond… Like do I simply nod and say thank you or does that require an in depth conversation? I do feel that sometimes people expect more of a response from me but I hope they do realize that to me they are a complete stranger! I don’t mean to be a bitch I swear!

Tro 3What does it mean to you to be popular on Instagram?

I think it means that I have a level of social influence. It is then my duty to ensure that I am contributing as much as I can. I want to be able to advocate certain social issues, inspire fitness goals, make people feel good about themselves and use my ‘popularity’ for good. I strongly believe it does come with a level of responsibility to maintain a genuine and honest perspective.

Tro 4When you were a little boy, what did you dream about?

I dreamed a lot as a child, in fact I am very much still a dreamer today.  Lets list a few of my dreams – a room full of puppies, a room full of cookies, tropical islands, growing old with someone, having a child of my own, pokemon being real, a wardrobe full of new clothes and boots, food!

I had my mind set on becoming a Marine Biologist or Vet when I grew older, this evolved into a paramedic and now I want to become a surgeon – so not a huge change, I used to love collecting bugs and spending hours watching David Attenborough.
